چکیده

The larvae of black soldier fly (Hermetia illucens L.) (BSFL) is an excellent decomposer for industrial and agricultural applications capable converting low-value waste into nutritional biomass. Sesame residues food possess high protein lipid content. To investigate the bioconversion process BSFL, were raised on a low-bioburden diet consisting sesame residue, liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) analysis was performed BSFL faeces at various instars. obtained metabolomes subsequently evaluated through principal component orthogonal projection to latent structure-discriminant explore differential components. Diacylglycerol main utilised by during metabolism. phenylalanine, arginine, oleic acid 10-hydroxy-8E-octadecenoic identified as major components in instars metabolites. We thus concluded that have different compositions instar stages. Another compound with molecular weight 278.224 prevalent both might play vital roles development. present study revealed part metabolic changes important lifecycle. Through this pioneering metabolomics profiles, discovery highly-valuable biomolecules application can be anticipated.

Salinity Effects on Mineral Nutrients and Performance of Turnip (Brassica Rapa L.) at Different Growth Stages

In order to study the effects of different salinity levels on turnip (Brassica rapa L.), an investigation was conducted at Yasouj University, Iran, in 2010. The effects of four salinity levels including 1.92, 9.87, 19.6 and 21.94 ds m-1 (20:1 ratio of NaCl: CaCl2 in Hoagland solution) on germination, vegetative and maturity stages of turnip (Baherghan landrace) were investigated. The results re...

Metabolite profiling of Chlamydomonas reinhardtii under nutrient deprivation.

A metabolite profiling technique for Chlamydomonas reinhardtii cells for multiparallel analysis of low-molecular weight polar compounds was developed. The experimental protocol was optimized to quickly inactivate enzymatic activity, achieve maximum extraction capacity, and process large sample quantities. As a result of the rapid sampling, extraction, and analysis by gas chromatography coupled ...
